Cloud Computing FAQ
I have observed that a lot of people have a lot of questions about cloud computing so I am putting together a little FAQ about Cloud Computing.
What is Cloud Computing?
Cloud computing is Internet (“cloud”) based development and use of computer technology. It is a style of computing in which IT-related capabilities are provided “as a service”. This allows users to access technology-enabled services from the Internet (“in the cloud”) without knowledge of, expertise with, or control over the technology infrastructure that supports them.
Is Cloud Computing New?
Not really, it has been around for a while. Like all things in IT, the concept has had several names but the general concept has been around almost as long as we have had internet applications.
